On your own Genetec or Milestone deployment, against your real alarms, at no cost. We install it and configure your rules with you.

What the pilot covers

  • 30 days from installation, at no cost.
  • Your alarm rules, recipient groups, timeouts and escalation levels configured with you.
  • The delivery channels you choose, set up end to end.
  • Installation handled remotely by us — typically around 45 minutes for a first site.
  • A 15-minute feedback call at the end. That is the only thing we ask in return.

What we need from you

  • Your VMS management server address — internal is fine.
  • A read-only VMS account for the service.
  • One recipient number to receive test alerts initially.

Two things integrators check first.

Does this cost us anything on the VMS side?

There is no new VMS licence to buy, but the two vendors differ and it is worth knowing which you are on. On Milestone, MIP SDK usage is covered by your existing licence and there is nothing separate to buy. On Genetec, Security Center needs a plugin part number activated on your licence before the plugin will load — we arrange that with Genetec as part of the pilot. So there is nothing for your team to chase either way.

Can our engineers just build this?

They can build the message-sending part in a week. The escalation ladder, acknowledgement state, cooldown suppression, retry and delivery tracking, duty routing, multi-site config, and ongoing VMS version compatibility are the other eleven months — and they don't stop once they ship.
